The calendars of our staff and colleagues tend to fill quickly, and you normally need to be scheduling an event at least six months in advance and sometimes as much as a year in advance. Fred Bernhard is Christian Community’s specialist in congregational hospitality. Convinced that hospitality is an essential part of the Gospel, Fred develop a comprehensive model of a welcoming congregation which had dramatic impact. His congregation, located in rural Ohio, had a 19% increase in worship attendance and a 36% increase in Sunday school attendance in the first three months using this model!
